Bee Aware at The Lexicon

From Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, June 4, 2023, The Lexicon are celebrating Bee Aware Week with a fun-filled programme that's perfect for the whole family. 

Running all week is a free-to-enter Bee Trail where visitors can search for flowers and bee facts hidden around the town centre for a chance to win one of three Bee hampers, an arts and craft session with Little Muddy Boots, a storytelling session with Jenny Bailey, author of Phoebe the Bee and a fun-filled programme of entertainment, education, games and much more! 

BEE Trail
Running all week is a free trail where visitors can search for flowers and bee facts hidden around the town centre for a chance to win one of three Bee hampers filled with a variety of products from retailers within The Lexicon.  

BEE Craft
Little Muddy Boots, will be running classes every weekday in Princess Square which will be fun filled with craft, planting and will teach children all about the importance of bees and pollinators and the vital role they play in our lives. The daily sessions will run from Monday 29 May through to Friday 2 June 2023 for children aged 1-8 years and cost just £4 per session. Each child will be given a craft to take home with them as well as a Bee Bomb and notebook from The Lexicon. There are limited spaces so do book early. To book click here.
