Brownlow Hall

The Brownlow Hall, more formally known as the Brownlow Memorial Hall, is a traditional village hall which has been beautifully modernised and is available to hire for all types of occasion and activity, large and small, including:

• Parties for children, adults, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions
• Fitness & Well-being Classes
• Courses – Arts, crafts & languages
• Business meetings, conferences, training & recruitment

The maximum capacity of the Brownlow Hall is 150 persons (standing).

The Rooms

The Brownlow Hall has four rooms which can be hired separately or as a whole (subject to availability); the Main Hall, Blue Room, Green Room and Library. There is also a well-equipped kitchen which hirers can use, and the Rose Room which is a reception area to the rear of the building. Click on the rooms below for more information.

Main Hall

The Main Hall is suitable for many different events and activities. It can accommodate a bouncy castle for children’s parties, however please note a maximum height of 3.8 metres due to metal roof supports.

Food and drink can be served via the serving hatch if desired. The Main Hall has a hearing loop for the hard-of-hearing.

Size: 17.3m x 8.2m

The maximum capacity of the hall is 80 seated or 150 standing.

Kitchen

The kitchen is available to all hirers, and has serving hatches accessing the Main Hall and the Rose Room. It is equipped with:

• Fridge
• Microwave
• Electric Kettle
• Hot Water Boiler
• 100 cups, saucers, plates, cutlery
• Teapots
